Percent
So far 22 out of 26 students are looking forward to this unit. Let's see...how do I convert a fraction to a decimal again??? Oh Ya, divide the numerator by the denominator. So 22 divided by 26 will give me...0.8461538, which I will round to 0.85. 0.85 is 85 hundredths, which is 85/100, which is the same as 85%! So 85% of my grade 7 students are looking forward to learning about percentages. I will have to speak to the other 15%!
